I have been coaching Football and both boys and girls Track & Field for 16 years. I am looking forward to taking over the girls Cross Country program and continuing to develop strong runners and proud competitors. I have worked with runners at different levels and distances which makes me confident that this program will grow even stronger. It is our job to not only train our athletes, but to make sure her experience is a positive one. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. I have been coaching cross country for 22 years, 19 of them at Leyden. I know how to make this sport fun, challenging, and rewarding for all that choose to participate. I welcome runners of any ability with a willingness to work hard. I believe my job is to foster self motivation, determination, and competitiveness while teaching sportsmanship, responsibility, and character.
